Student Requirements

Students who are currently high school Seniors and qualified high school Juniors (according to Oregon policy) enrolled in public, non public secondary schools, or a home education program are eligible.

• Students must present proof of high school enrollment
• Verification from the State of Oregon of your home schooling status
• Students must submit a letter from their counselor indicating that the student is qualified and prepared for college courses

Students should understand that the amount of work necessary to succeed in dual enrollment courses may be greater than in high school courses. Prior academic performance must indicate an expectation of successful completion of dual enrollment in both high school and college coursework .

A minimum high school GPA of 3.0 is required for program participation.

Fees for the EOU Dual Credit Program are based upon the current policy for high school students taking on campus courses at Eastern Oregon University. For 2011-2012 the fee is $40.00 per credit hour for on campus classes and $74.50 per credit hour for online classes. Additional fees may be required for some courses (i.e. lab fees, etc.).
