Editor

The editor must be a full-time student of Eastern Oregon University. The applicant must be an upper division student in good standing with the university and have completed a minimum of twelve credit hours of creative writing (fiction, poetry, and non-fiction).

The responsibilities of the editor include but are not limited to the following:

1.	Distribution and promotion of Oregon East in Fall quarter
2.	Creating and submitting a budget to the Student Fees Committee
3.	Calling for submissions of writing and art work through campus media
4.	Read manuscripts and make decisions on accepting and rejecting work
5.	Maintain regular office hours
6.	Establishing deadlines for submissions of copy
7.	Layout and design of the magazine
8.	Proofreading
9.	Maintaining a working relationship with the advisor of the magazine
10.	Orientating the new editor
