"Pardners in Learning". Health Careers Student Handbook. Produced by Union Family Health Occupations Leadership Cadre. July 1994. This is a great resource if you will be sending your students to shadow in a health clinic or hospital. It provides teaching objectives, guidelines for students and mentors, etc. You are free to alter and reproduce for your specific needs as long as you give credit to the original developers.

Field Guide to Health Careers. Produced by Northeast Oregon AHEC. Compiled by Oregon Career Information Systems, University of Oregon. October 1995. Detailed information on health careers, courses of study, Oregon and northwest schools, needs east of the Cascade, and includes a financial aid/scholarship section. Fee: Free for 1 copy in the Northeast Oregon AHEC region, or we can have you contact a local Northeast Oregon AHEC board member if you want multiple copies for classroom use.

Educational Opportunities in Health Careers -- Spanish Version. Produced by Oregon Pacific AHEC, Oregon Health Sciences University, and the Oregon Area Health Education Centers Program. First edition 1995-96. Similar to the Field Guide noted above, but more general with lots of pictures and professional printing on slick paper. Free in our region in individual or multiple copies.

Mentoring Manual: A Guide to Program Development and Implementation. Published by The Abell Foundation, Inc., Baltimore, Maryland. Revised January 1990. We have consent to copy for just the copying fee and of course postage: $4.50.

A fee of $5 per tape is charged to cover shipping & handling.
Tapes picked up from our office only have a $2.50 fee.
Tapes are due 2 weeks after they are picked up or mailed.
Return postage is the responsibility of the borrower.
Duplicating the tapes is expressly prohibited.
A return address label is enclosed with an evaluation form and course roster, please assist us by completing and returning these forms.
In the event tapes are lost, stolen or damaged, replacement fees are charged to the borrower.
