Brain Awareness is designed for teachers, health care professionals and community members. Professional Development Units are available to participants. Northeast Oregon Area Health Education Center hosts a teleconference annually at sites in Eastern Oregon in collaboration with Oregon Health and Sciences University.
Professional Development Units are available to participants. Two (2) PDU’s are available for those attending the sessions.
This year’s topic is Transforming Students’ Motivation to Learn. The presenter is Carol S. Dweck, PhD, from the Department of Psychology at Stanford University.
Advanced registration is strongly recommended. The cost to participate is $15. Light morning snacks and coffee will be provided. The registration deadline is Friday, February 28th.
Check-in will begin at 9:30 am and the simulcast starts at 10 am in Inlow Hall 013 on campus at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande and at EOU at the Malheur County Regional Center in Ontario. For more information call (541) 962-3422.
