Baker City, Oregon

Baker City is located at the southern end of the Powder River Valley along the Oregon Trail, 300 miles east of Portland and 100 miles northwest of Boise. Baker City is a town of around 10,000 with many attractions and amenities. The town has a YMCA pool, a bowling alley, movie theater and is within a short driving distance is Anthony Lakes Ski area, the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, and Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.

Enterprise, Oregon

Enterprise a town of approximately 2,000 is located in the Wallowa Mountains at an elevation of 3,757ft. Oregon's largest wilderness area, the Eagle Cap, is outside of Enterprise and has great fishing, hiking and camping. The surrounding area is home to several art galleries and bronze foundries.

Hermiston, Oregon

Hermiston is in the northwest corner of Umatilla County along I-84 in northeast Oregon. It is located 185 miles east of Portland and 257 miles northwest of Boise. Hermiston is a very culturally diverse community with a population of about 11,000. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy boating and fishing on the Columbia River and various types of hunting. It is within a short distance of the Tri-Cities area for shopping.

John Day, Oregon

John Day is located at the junction of Highway 26 and Highway 395. This rural town of approximately 1,900 has incredible natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities are abundant in the area. Thousands of acres of public land offer backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, or scenic driving. All or part of three wilderness areas are located in Grant County.

La Grande, Oregon

La Grande, population 12,500 is located in the Grande Ronde Valley, and is surrounded by the Blue and Wallowa Mountain ranges. The valley and surrounding areas hold many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and backpacking. La Grande is home to Eastern Oregon University and is 174 miles northwest Boise and 259 miles east of Portland.

Ontario, Oregon

Ontario situated along the Snake River at the northeast end of the Treasure Valley is located 55 miles northwest of Boise and 370 miles east of Portland on I-84. Ontario with a population base of about 10,300 is the largest city in Malheur County and is home to Treasure Valley Community College. The town has a community aquatic center, 18 hole municipal golf course, two movie theaters, a bowling alley and four fitness centers.

Pendleton, Oregon

Pendleton with a population of approxiamately 16,000 is located at the base of the Blue Mountains 229 miles northwest of Boise and 210 miles east of Portland. The town is home to Blue Mountain Community College, the Umatilla Indian Reservation, the Wild Horse Casino, and the famous annual rodeo " Pendleton Round-up."
