Arthur J. (Art) Hill, MBA
Art Hill began his first term on the board in the spring of 2010. His background includes an MBA in Finance, business ownership, web technology, post-secondary educational administration, prior work in health care education at the request of Senator David Nelson, and more recently, a Governor’s appointment to the Oregon Growth Account Board. Art is on a statewide team redefining the use of distance learning to make health care education available and affordable regardless of a student’s geographic location. He is also currently involved in a national program to develop technical training in health care informatics to meet the demands of electronic medical records.
Art serves on the NEOAHEC board in recognition of Blue Mountain Community College’s contributions to healthcare and health care education in northeastern Oregon. With over a dozen health care education programs, Blue Mountain Community College works to meet the demand for trained and qualified health care career professionals in Oregon. As a member of the Oregon Health Network Board, Art works to leverage not only workforce education, but also state-of-the-art technology in support of the NEOAHEC Mission.
