Teachers, presenters, and group leaders who work with grades 4-8 can explore aspects of scientific careers, the body, and the environment through these self-contained "Exploration in Science and Health" kits from the In-A-Box program. Boxes, including the Eye, Ear, Brain, Guts, Bones & Muscles, and Expedition Northwest. Mouth In-A-Box will be available soon. Pre-Health Professions Club students from Eastern Oregon University are available to help lead interactive lessons and activities in the classroom. We will also attempt to arrange a professional visitor to your classroom at your request. In-A-Box is created by the Oregon Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and professionals at Oregon Health & Science University and is funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Our goal is to provide current health and science activities to inspire students about the possibilities of a career in science as well as a better understanding of their bodies and environment.
