The Navigators Club at Eastern Oregon University was founded in 1993 by a group of Micronesian students who once attended the institution.  The club has been active for the past years and have built a strong and good reputation for its hard work and contribution to the school and the community as well.

The Navigators Club is an academic organization consisting of members, both Micronesians and non-Micronesian students.  The main purpose of the club is to unite students of different ethnicities and race for the social and cultural activities both on-campus and off-campus.  The club is open to anyone who has interest in learning about the traditions and the culture of the Micronesian Islands.

Micronesian representatives include students from the Republic of Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia (Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap), Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan, Tinian and Rota) and Guam.  Non-Micronesian representatives includes students from the United States, Southeast Asia, and other countries.
