PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

 Dr. Hofmann (Ph.D. Claremont Graduate University) has thirty-three years experience in educational settings at the elementary, secondary, community college, and university levels. He has made numerous presentations at national literacy conventions and has served extensively as an educational consultant in literacy and related areas. Currently, Dr. Hofmann is an Assistant Professor and the Professional Development Coordinator for the Master of Science in Education Program. His research interests include adolescent, cultural, and content area literacy, literacy assessment, folklore, readers theatre and storytelling, and publications include Middle School Literacy Strategies that Work.
