ISB Cabinet Quickstart Instructions

There are 4 switches with numbers on the switcher in the cabinet. Each one switches the video and audio for a respective input. The projector must be set to HDMI to get the signals from the switcher. All switching between sources is done through the switcher.

PUSH Buttons:

Simply press the button for the source you want to use, for example, push the button labeled “4″ for Power Point or other computer presentations using the computer in the cabinet.

Button 1. – DVD/VHS Combo player (Universal input 1)

Button 2. – RCA video input on cable for Doc cam (Elmo)

Button 3. – VGA connector and 3.5mm audio plug on external cable – laptop (UGA 1)

Button 4. – Computer in cabinet (UXGA 2)

The buttons might seem a bit slow to change at times, but slow presses held for few seconds should work best. If a source doesn’t change right away when you press the button, stop for a few seconds and press it again. The button will light up when it is selected.

For audio only from an external source, use the 3.5mm phone plug cable with the external VGA cable. Switch to the corresponding button on the switcher (Button 3).

There is a small black amplifier for audio.

To turn it on, rotate the big knob away from the most counter-clockwise setting, and it should light up with a blue light, indicating the amp is on. Please turn the amp off when finished by turning the knob all the way counter-clockwise until it shuts off.

Document Camera:

To connect the document camera (doc cam), roll out the cart, get the RCA video cable off the top of the cabinet, and plug it into the RCA video jack on the doc cam. Turn on the power and switch the switcher to number 2,  Again, be careful of the cords.
