Exporting an email folder from Groupware:

  1. Open the Groupware Portal and then open the email window
  2. Click Options in the upper left
  3. Click Folder in the upper left
  4. Look for the Export folder section on the right
  5. Select the folder you want to export from the drop down list
  6. Click the box to the left of Incl subfolders if you want to include all the subfolders in the folder. For example, if you want to export the Inbox and all the folders inside it, then select Incl subfolders.

  7. Click the Export button
  8. You will be prompted to save the file for export. The file will be named exactly as the folder.
  9. The file is exported in mbox format and will be compressed as a zip file.

  10. Click Close in the upper left
  11. Note that the mbox file is readable by an email application like Thunderbird.
  12. To make a file accessible in Thunderbird, please contact your tech support person.
