CC-Students Listserv Information

When you are hired you will automatically be added to the listserv—cc-students.  This listserv will allow you access to communication with lab aid supervisor, and Information Technology staff.  Payroll updates, time-off requests, non-emergency computer questions, and lab reservations are among the many items that the cc-students listserv periodically reports on.

WHEN TO USE:

The cc-student listserv is for student lab aides and Information Technology staff.  When you send a cc-students message only these people will receive the email.  This helps to communicate to several individuals without having to enter personal email accounts. The listserv should be used for time-off requests pertaining to your lab schedule, responses to coverage requests, technical questions, hardware problems, printer and toner issues and any additional communication that pertains directly to the computer labs. 

WHEN NOT TO USE:

Although the listserv may seem an ideal way to reach many people at once, it is not intended for personal use!  The listserv may not be used to advertise, send forwarded personal messages, or to criticize other employees.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Lab hours and schedules found at www.eou.edu/it/cclabs/index.html.  The schedule changes each term and during holiday breaks.
