Typical ACK210 issues

  • No PC Signal – The PC input is set to “computer 1″ on the projector, users maybe have it on the wrong input. Also there is a manual VGA switch next to the PC, make sure that is set to the correct setting. If wanting the cabinet PC have it connected to A (labelled “Cabinet PC”), or if the user is plugging in a external VGA device like a laptop it should be connected to B (labelled “external RGB/Notebook”)
  • VGA cable placement – Since the cabinet was replaced users may get confused as to where the VGA cable is located now. It is actually located in plain sight on a hook on the outside of the cabinet. Routing it through the typical layout of that cabinet would shorten the cable and since ACK210 is a big room having the cable at maximum length would be beneficial to all users.
  • No sound – Since the sound is powered by an amp, mixer and speakers it is best not to leave that equipment on. On the second shelf there is a power strip with all audio equipment connected to it. Turn on the strip and use the mixer (located right next to the strip) to control the sound. The mixer is labelled correctly and has sliders to adjust sound.
