Checking Audix

  1. Press the Message button
  2. Enter your extension
  3. Enter your password

Searching the Campus Directory

  1. Press the Directory button
  2. Enter your search using the number pad
  3. Use the Directory Next button to view more results
  4. Use the Call Display button to dial the displayed number

 Send Call Automatically to Audix

  1. Press the Send Calls button to send all incoming calls to audix
  2. Press the Send Calls button again to start receiving calls again

Adjust the Ringer Volume

  1. Press the volume + or – button. When the volume is at its lowest setting there will be no ring, but the red light in the top right corner will flash.

Adjust the Screen Brightness

  1. Press the menu button
  2. Press select for “Screen/Sounds…”
  3. Press select for “Brightness…”
  4. Use the left and right buttons to adjust the brightness

Toggle Visual Alerting (blinking light when someone is calling)

  1. Press menu
  2. Press the down arrow until you see “Call Settings…”
  3. Press Select
  4. Press the down arrow until you see Visual Alerting
  5. Use the left and right arrows to toggle visual alerting

Toggle Button Clicks (the noise you hear when pressing buttons)

  1. Press menu
  2. Press select for “Screen/Sounds…”
  3. Press the down arrow until you see Button Clicks
  4. Use the left and right arrows to toggle Button Clicks

Transfer a Call

  1. Press Transfer
  2. Dial the phone number
  3. Press Transfer

Start a Conference Call

  1. While active on a call, press the Conference button.
  2. Dial the telephone number.
  3. Press the Conference button

NOTE: If you would like to program the buttons on your phone, please submit a technology ticket (https://support.eou.edu/ticketing/submit/it/) with the location of the button (1-16 on the regular 1616 phones and 1-16 & 1-32 if you have a module attached), and the phone number you want to add.
