The U.S. Senate has declared 2006 the Year of Study Abroad in recognition of the importance of study abroad in education.  The resolution encourages the promotion and expansion of study abroad initiatives.  Study abroad programs provide unforgettable experiences for the students who participate, along with promoting international understanding.

EOU students have a variety of opportunities for overseas travel from which to choose.  Study abroad programs are available through Oregon Abroad and AHA International.  EOU has direct exchange programs in place with five universities around the world.  Finally, for the student who is ready to gain some professional experience, IE3 Global Internships offers a unique opportunity.
