How to get to EOU:

La Grande is in Northeastern Oregon.  It is located approximately 4 hours from Portland and 5 hours from Seattle, Washington.  Many students fly to Portland or Seattle, and then take another plane to the regional airport in Pendleton, Oregon.  The International Student Advisor can meet you at the Pendleton Airport and drive you to campus.  It is approximately 1 hour away from  La Grande.  Alaska and Horizon Airlines fly to Pendelton (http://www.alaskaair.com).

Another option is to take the bus to La Grande.  Greyhound bus lines have service from Portland and Seattle (www.greyhound.com).  The International Student Advisor can also meet you at the bus station in La Grande and drive you to campus.  Please note that the bus ride can be long with many stops.  Also, the bus station is too far from campus to walk, so you will need someone to drive you.

Planning your travel to EOU :

• If you will need to be picked up at the La Grande Greyhound Bus Station or Pendleton Airport, you will need to make arrangements to arrive on January 3 or 4 with the International Student Advisor at hjones@eou.edu no later than December 14.  If you need assistance getting to campus and will not be arriving on the listed days, please contact the International Student Advisor as soon as possible for assistance making arrangements.
