The senior thesis is the capstone project for history majors at Eastern Oregon University. Working closely with faculty advisors, graduating seniors produce high quality, undergraduate research papers on a chosen historical topic. In addition to reflecting the history program's commitment to strong writing and critical thinking, the senior thesis provides students with a writing sample for advanced degree applications such as graduate school or law school. Students also gain experience with information systems and information technology as well as with long-form research and writing, all of which have applications in many professional fields. 

The senior thesis is edited, bound and shelved in Pierce Library.
