Reasons for emergency contraception
- Condom broke, diaphragm or cervical cap slipped out of place.
- Unprotected vaginal intercourse

- Side Effects: Mild nausea, vomiting, cramping, breast tenderness, irregular bleeding, fluid retention, and headaches may occur.

During the academic school year, Student Health Center is open 8:30am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday and closed for lunch from 12-1 daily. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 541-962-3524. Drop in times may be available for those with urgent or unplanned needs.

Severe injuries or illnesses occurring
after hours can be evaluated at the Grande Ronde Hospital Emergency Department at the student's expense.
