Decision Items :
1. PSY 222 – Students who enrolled/completed this course during the summer should get credit the same as students who completed it
Fall, 2004. Approved 1-11-05
2. SPCH 111 and SPCH 112 – Move to new gen ed (still exist for old gen ed as well). SPCH 111 will satisfy LL&C, and SPCH 112
will satisfy C&CL. Approved 1-11-05
3. MUS 310/304 – Down in the Boondocks. Assign permanent number to course. Satisfy LL&C. Approved 1-11-05
4. Statistical & Scientific Computing (SSC) – Add new concentration to CSMM Studies Degree Approved 1-11-05
If the concentrations are to be transcripted, they need to ensure they meet certain criteria.
Every major that has a concentration – student must put it on their graduation application.
Dea will provide the form to Sarah and the concentration areas that are currently listed in Registrars.
5. CS 344 – Systems Analysis & Design. Change in course title and catalog description. Approved 1-11-05
CS 360 – Object-Oriented Programming. Change in course title and catalog description.
Approved 1-11-05
CS 427 – Statistical & Scientific Computing. Change in course title and catalog description. Approved 1-11-05
6. PEH Degree Proposal.
New program and supporting components approved by EPCC, and agreed to move forward and be presented to Assembly on 2-1-05.
Program will apply to new incoming freshmen in Fall 2005. There will be a transition period for students still in old program.
Discussion items :
Major and minor, and double dipping will be taken to Arts & Sciences and SEB meetings for approval and then to Assembly. Mary Koza will present them to the Liberal Studies Committee as well.
