Animal Care and Use Facility:
Eastern Oregon University meets or exceeds all state and federal policies and guidelines concerning humane care and use of laboratory animals. The university's Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) is responsible for setting standards for use of vertebrate animals in research and instruction. ACUC is responsible for monitoring and enforcement of these standards and welcomes input from concerned individuals or organizations.
An application form must be on record for use of vertebrate animals in either research or instruction. This form may be downloaded from the EH & S Document Server or by contacting ACUC directly at 541-962-3398.
