Summer Session Registration

On-line registration will begin Monday, May 5.

All students are encouraged to register on-line.

If you are unable to register on-line, please call the Summer School Office (541-962-3644) or stop by the Registrar’s Office in Inlow Hall room 109 for a registration form or go online at www.eou.edu/regis/.

Summer Session dates:

Pre Session - - - June 16 – June 20
First 3 Week Session - - - June 23 – July 11
Six Week Session - - - June 23 – August 1
Second 3 Week Session - - - July 14 – August 1

Add/Drop Procedures

Courses may be added following confirmation of your original schedule until 10 percent of the total class time for the class has elapsed. Due to the shortness of the Summer Session, this usually means the third day of a three-week term. Required forms are in the Registrar’s Office.

A course must be dropped before 50 percent of the course has elapsed. After 50 percent, follow the withdrawal procedures.

Withdrawal Procedures

All withdrawals must be filed in the Registrar’s Office prior to the last day of class.

Credit Load

A typical credit load for summer including pre-session is 15 quarter credits. Overloads (which is 21 credits for undergraduate, 16 for graduate) require approval by a school dean. Signed approval of enrollment overload must be submitted with the registration form and before participation in any overload course.

Grade Reports

Grades are due in the Registrar’s Office on August 4 and will be posted on transcripts after that date. Transcripts for all sessions will be mailed after September 5. Degrees will be posted after September 5.
