Criteria for Becoming a Biology Teacher:In order to teach Biology at the middle and high school levels, the preparation must be equivalent to a major (at least 50 quarter credits/ 33 semester credits) in science related disciplines, with a majority of the coursework in Biology. Preparation should include courses in a combination of the following areas:
