Criteria for becoming an Elementary Teacher:
The following are coursework requirements for admission into the Elementary MAT Program:
- Science: 12 credit hours (quarter)
- Social Science: US History or Geography
- Math: Math 211, Math 212, and Math 213, or equivalent
- Language Arts: one Literature and two Writing courses
- Art: Art Fundamentals or experience
- Music: Music Fundamentals or experience
