Curriculum for Undergraduate Elementary School Teacher Education (CUESTE)

CUESTE is an undergraduate program leading to initial teacher licensure for elementary grades.  The program offers opportunities for structured practicum, student teaching, and the study of Primary and Elementary Core.  Students preparing to teach elementary grades are required to complete a major in Multidisciplinary Studies, a major in Elementary Education, and an additional academic minor or course of study.

Endorsements

As part of the CUESTE program, students are required to pursue an additional academic minor or course of study, which can lead to an endorsement on the teaching license.  EOU offers undergraduate courses of study in:

Reading
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
Math

The CUESTE program is available onsite in La Grande, Pendleton, Gresham, and Ontario.

A copy of the official score report for all tests must be submitted to Megan Caldwell at mcaldwell@eou.edu.
