Triple Bond

A triple bond has three pairs of electrons shared between the nuclei of two adjacent atoms. The atoms are brought even closer together in a triple bond than in a double bond and the triple bond is stronger than a double bond. Note that there is no rotation between the atoms in a triple bond.
