Tetrahedral molecular shape

In a tetrahedral the four atoms bound to the central atom are as far apart as possible. The bond angles in a tetrahedral are each 109.5o.

Carbon tetraiodide (CI4) is characterized by tetrahedral molecular shape. It is composed of one carbon and four iodine atoms.
