Software and Computer Resources Used to Create Database

The Chinese Database was created with Access '97 (Microsoft) and the Web site was created with Microsoft FrontPage '97. The Chinese characters were created with Twinbridge, Versions 4.0 and 4.5, Big5CJK. The computer server that the database resides on is a Windows NT computer that is running Version 2.0 IIS.

Future plans at Lewis-Clark State College include upgrading the server to IIS.4.0 that will allow usage of FrontPage '98 and a better display of the Big5CJK coding, as well as incorporation of Active Server Pages.
