The general rule is that someone may be entered if they had a contribution to make in:

Arts and Literature
Science, Medicine, and Technology
Politics and Government
Economics and Business
Military Leadership
Education and Civic Society
  • Currently, we are entering in Chinese figures from post-1850, but the New Biographies section will allow entry at any period of Chinese history.
  • In the comments you want to indicate some of the contributions of the biographical figure.
  • You must have some documentation for the contribution.
