Career Advising at EOU

If you are reading this job search guide, it is fair to assume that you are either starting to think about your career plans for the future or that you have some interest in finding a job. 

The job climate, of course, is always a factor in finding a job. But even under the best conditions, finding satisfactory work involves time and know-how. Career Advising exists to help you in this endeavor. While we do not function as an employment agency, our responsibility is to help Eastern students and alumni with their career concerns and assist you in developing the skills to be successful in your career search. 

Are you wondering how to correlate your academic preparation and career goals? Are you concerned whether your courses are helping you to qualify for certain kinds of jobs? Maybe you can't decide what kind of career you want. Or, if you've already cleared that hurdle, perhaps you're having trouble identifying potential employers or learning how to communicate with them.
