EDUCATION CAREER SEMINAR

Students: I hope to be caught up on scheduling your mock & real prescreening interviews by Friday. Please be reassured if you have emailed me, I will be answering within a few days. Thank you for your patience!

A panel presentation is given by school district administrators addressing the education job search process. Teacher candidates participate in a meet and mingle, group mock interviews and may sign up for pre-screening interviews with districts where positions are anticipated. CUESTE teacher candidates who are participating in Core 1 and 2 during 2010-11 and MAT students are required to participate. 

2010-11 MUD & MAT students must email Career Services beginning on Friday, February 11, and no later than Tuesday, March 1, to schedule Small Group Mock Interviews and pre-screening interviews for anticipated openings with the districts who have scheduled interviews. Refer to the links below for openings with the various districts. Please send email to: career@eou.edu, specify Education Seminar in the subject line and your district preferences for both mock and real pre-screening interviews. Please indicate if you are elementary or secondary.

Eastern alums may participate in Pre-screening real interviews as space allows.  Please e-mail after February 22, 2011.

Education Career Seminar Panelists 2011
A panel presentation given by district administrators addressing issues in education and the job search process.  These districts will also conduct Small Group Mock Interview Training Sessions.

All districts participating in the panel presentation will be conducting small group mock interviews at 1:00 and 2:00. Real pre-screening interviews will be conducted Friday afternoon/evening and continue on Saturday for some districts.  Check the schedules below for dates and available times for each district:
