Purchasing - Petty Cash

A petty cash fund may be established in a department to improve the efficiency of departmental operations. These funds are available for making change, buying small office supplies and for making small volume purchases when a procurement card is not available. Although petty cash funds are available, whenever possible, EOU encourages the use of procurement cards for making purchases.
