BUSINESS MINOR

 

The business minor is a 30 credit hour requirement of business classes designed to provide students majoring in another discipline knowledge of the environment of business and in the principles of business. More employers are seeking basic business skills in job candidates to avoid extra training.

 

  • Students majoring in Liberal Studies may select the business minor as one of their focus areas.
  • All requirements for a minor in business are available on the EOU campusonline and at MHCC.
  • Students must have a grade of C- or better in all required courses of the minor.
  • Students must complete a minumum of 15 credits (10 of which must be upper division) in the minor from the College of Business at Eastern Oregon University.

Eastern Oregon University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas. The business minor is accredited by the IACBE.
