Students undertake case analyses, hands-on projects, and simulation exercises. They also have the opportunity to conduct real business consultation, project design, and strategy development work.
The Business Administration degree program is innovative in that it combines a solid theoretical framework of the business discipline with a strong focus on practical-hands on experience. In developing this program, input was solicited from the business community concerning the important concepts, experiences, skills, and desirable traits necessary for business students to be effective leaders in the business environment.
The Business/Economics degree is a multidisciplinary degree program emphasizing theoretical concepts in business and economics. Eastern is the only university in the state system to offer this type of degree.
On campus students enjoy small classes taught by a team of professional faculty who are dedicated to providing a high quality educational experience. Students will have opportunities to work with faculty on field projects and research. Most classes are student-centered and emphasize teamwork.
Business students are encouraged to join the business club. Through the club, students can develop leadership and business skills by participating in SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise).
