Bacteriophage are viruses that infect bacteria. As more and more of the pathogenic bacteria develop resistance to our chemical antibiotics, use of phage based antibiotics is being reconsidered. With a view toawrd understanding potential influences of over the counter medications on phage infection, we are studying affects of  over the counter pain relievers on T1 infection of Escherichia coli.
