The following "videos" are recorded sessions of live, full-length workshops at EOU. You will hear the presenter and see his computer screen.
** The WebEx Player is required, which should automatically download and install when you click on a workshop to view. If it doesn't, visit the WebEx Player web site to download the player for ARF files. Of course, you will also need to be connected to the Internet and have speakers on your computer to hear the presenter.

Blackboard Basics

This workshop covers the fundamental features and processes of Blackboard, including posting materials, communicating with students, and more. |

Assignments, Tests, and Gradebook
approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
We’ll cover a variety of tools to measure student performance, including the Gradebook, Performance Dashboard, assignments, discussion boards, and tests (including importing exam questions). Familiarity with the basics of Blackboard is recommended. |

This workshop will cover the “how’s” and “why’s” of Blackboard communication tools, including announcements, e-mail, Blackboard Messages, discussion board, chat, and virtual classroom. Familiarity with the basics of Blackboard is recommended. |

Creating and Administering Exams with Respondus
approx. 1 hour
In this workshop we’ll cover using Respondus and Respondus Lockdown Browser, powerful tools for creating and securely administering exams in Blackboard. Familiarity with the basics of Blackboard is recommended. |
