Mounties Record First Win of the Season

GREAT FALLS, MONTANA - First year head coach Jessy Watson and the rest of the Eastern Oregon University Soccer team made the 12 hour bus ride back from Great Falls, Montana a little shorter by beating UGF 2-1 Friday afternoon.
The win was the first in Watson's short career and the first for the Mounties this season.
Sophomore Ashley Julian and Freshman Kaila Dillon each scored goals in the first half while playing with a very strong prevailing wind. Eastern held the Argo's to a single goal scored in the second half whey playing into a heavy head wind.
Coach Watson said, "We tried a few new things and they worked out well for us."
EOU will return to action next Friday and Saturday, when they start conference play at home against Evergreen State and Northwest.
