Fighting Saints Shut Out Mounties

Helena, Montana - The Mountie Soccer team played great in the first half holding Carroll College scoreless. Unfortunately, the Fighting Saints were able to score four goals in the second half while keeping the Mounties scoreless to win the match 4-0.
Head Coach Jessy Watson had this to say about his teams performance, "In the second half we allowed them to stretch us out and they managed to net 4 goals on us."
Watson also had room for optimism, "There was great team play throughout the 1st half and we showed signs of coming together as a unit. The girls worked hard and deserved a better result."
Eastern will have a chance to get their first win of the young season Friday as they continue on the road to face Great Falls.
