EOU "Penalized" at Home

LA GRANDE, Ore. - In the 19th minute Corban's Jessica Matthews was awarded a penalty kick and took advantage giving the visiting Warriors (6-7,3-2 CCC) a 1-0 lead that proved to be enough to knock off Eastern Oregon University Saturday.
Mountie Goal Keeper Kristina Kennedy played an otherwise terrific game finishing with 4 saves and giving up just the PK goal. Eastern was unable to capitalize on any of its 9 shots (3 on goal).
Maggie Driscoll, who had a pair of scores yesterday, was unable to convert on either of her two shots Saturday. Both Kaila Dillon and Lauren Souza also had a couple of tries each.
EOU, now 3-6, 2-4 CCC, will host Simon Frasier on Thursday at 3:00 pm.
