Paul-Bowden's Lone Goal Not Enough

ASHLAND, Ore. - The nine hour bus ride home from Ashland become that much longer as the Mountie Soccer team lost its second match in as many days. Yesterday it was a 2-1 loss at Oregon Tech today a 3-1 defeat at Southern Oregon.
This tough road trip brought the Eastern's record to 2-5, 1-3 in Cascade Conference play.
After giving up two goals in the first 30 minutes of play, Tennly Paul-Bowden scored the Mountaineers lone goal in the 32nd minute of the game on a feed from Nicole Archibeque.
Southern out shot the Mounties 13 to 7. 10 of the Raiders shots were on goal compared to just 4 for EOU.
Eastern will try and right the ship at home, as they will play the next four contests in La Grande. The first of which is Friday September 28th against Warner Pacific. Game time is set for 4:00pm
