Soccer Drops Scrimmage 0-1

La Grande, Ore- The Eastern Oregon University Soccer team finally got to face someone other than themselves Saturday. The Mounties lost the scrimmage to the visiting North Idaho Eagles 0-1.
In the 27th minute of the first half the Eagles scored on a corner kick. The strong cross wind seemed to bend the ball directly into the goal.
While the Mounties had several shots on goal, they could not get one to go in.
Eastern will have another chance to work out the kinks Monday when they travel to Ontario for another exhibition match against Treasure Valley Community College. The match is set to kick off at 4:00pm MT.
