Mounties Lose Despite Ulmer's 24 and 9

ASHLAND, Ore. - Tiffanie Ulmer's 24 points and 9 rebounds coupled with Sheena Henderson's 17 and 4 were not enough to knock off Southern Oregon on Saturday night as the Raiders beat EOU 76-69.

The Mountaineers (18-3, 12-2,CCC) found themselves down four points at half time only to see Southern come out and shut the Eastern offense down for much of the second half.  The Mounties found themselves in a big hole with under 10 minutes to go before mounting a furious charge late.

Their charge would come up short as EOU lost the game and sole possession of 1st place in the CCC.  The Mounties now share the top spot with Southern (21-3,12-2 CCC).

Eastern will host Multnomah Bible Tuesday night in a non conference match up before returning to conference play Friday and Saturday night against Concordia and Corban College in Quinn.
