Perfect Start Gets Even Better

LA GRANDE, Ore. - Off to a school record 9-0 start and ranked 22nd in the country, who would have thought that things could get even better for the Eastern Oregon University Women's Basketball team?
In case that wasn't enough, the Mountaineers will spend some of their holiday season in Hawaii. On Wednesday December 26th (a day after spending Christmas with their families) the Eastern Women's basketball team will travel to Kailua, Hawaii for a basketball tournament.
The Mounties will spend 7 days in the tropical paradise, playing games against Vanguard University and Holy Name University.
Already widely regarded as a master fundraiser, Head Coach Anji Weissenfluh and the Mountaineer Basketball team have been hard at work earning money to fund the excursion.
The team will travel back to the continental U.S. on New Years Day and get back to Conference action January 4th against Northwest Christian.
