EOU Women Suffer First CCC Blemish

LA GRANDE, Ore. - The 19th Eastern Oregon University Women were upset on the road by Concordia University 64-62. It marks the first time this season that the Mounties (15-2,9-1 CCC) have lost in Cascade Conference play.
Even with the set back, EOU remains alone in first place with ten conference games remaining.
Eastern was led by Sheena Henderson's 17 points and 9 rebounds. The senior went 7-13 from the field and played all 40 minutes for EOU.
Off the bench the Mounties got 15 points and 4 boards from Tiffanie Ulmer while starting point guard Salena Leavitt continued her recent strong play scoring 10 points hauling in 5 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists
EOU will try and get back on track this weekend at home when they face Warner Pacific and Cascade College. Both games are set to start at 5:30pm in Quinn.
