Netters Defeat T-Birds in Three

LA GRANDE, Ore. - For the second time in as many contests the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineer Volleyball has beaten their opponent in three strait games. On Monday EOU knocked off Walla Walla College in three and tonight the Mounties finished off Cascade in the minimum.
Eastern dominated all three games, beating the T-Birds 30-21, 30-20, 30-22.
Alissa Clinton handed out 21 assists on the night. Most of which were delivered to fellow sophomore Grace DeBoodt who ended up with 13 kills. Senior Chelsea Lally and Sophomore Danielle Kelley chipped in with 6 and 7 kills respectively.
Senior Jolene George led the Mounties with 16 digs
The win tonight brought Easterns record to 2-1 in conference(4-4 overall). The Mounties will stay in Portland and face Warner Pacific Saturday. With the Knights losing to Albertson tonight they are also 2-1 (5-2 overall).
