Eastern Sweeps Cascade, Extends Streak to Seven

LA GRANDE, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University Volleyball team swept Cascade College 3-0 to win its seventh consecutive match and improve to 12-6, 9-3 in the Cascade Conference.
Eastern won the first game in convincing fashion 30-15. After getting off to a bit of a slow start in the second stanza EOU dominated play winning the last to games 30-21, 30-17.
What is turning into the dynamic duo of Grace Deboodt and Chelsea Lally once again displayed their prowess by pounding ball after ball over the net for Mountie scores. Lally led all players with 16 digs while Deboodt finished second with 12. Defensively, Kiley Cobb tallied 19 digs which was a match best.
The red hot Mountaineers will their streak on the line next week when they make the long journey to Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech.
