Spring Sport Athletes Travel South for the Break

La Grande, Ore - This spring break both of EOU's spring term athletic programs will have a chance to travel south, enjoy some nice weather and yes of course...compete.
The Mountie Softball team left for Tuscon, Arizona Sunday morning after completing a Saturday afternoon sweep of Coban College, bringing their overall record to 5-5. The Invite is hosted by The Graceland University Yellow Jackets.
Eastern will face Pacific Lutheran University out of Washington and St. Olaf College out of Minnasota on Monday.
As for Mountie Track & Field, they travel to Stanford University for a Friday, Saturday meet. Head Coach Ben Welch will send four women and seven men to compete in the event.
Danielle Murphy, Danielle Reis, Chelsee Harmon and Kasie Gillespie will represent the women. On the men's side, Chris Hoppie, Matt Lane, Zach Heath, Ryan Browne, Adam Miller, Andrew Wise-Grittman and Adam Goulet will travel for the men.
