Men and Women Move Up in Final Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On the strength of winning regular season Cascade Conference crowns, the Eastern Oregon University Men's and Women's Basketball teams have moved up in the final NAIA National Coaches Poll.

The Mountie Women find themselves back in the top 25, at 24 after spending a week outside of the poll.  Eastern finished the regular season 24-4 and tied for the CCC regular season Championship.  By vertue of winning the tie break with co-champion Southern Oregon EOU earned the automatic bid the NAIA National Tournament.

The Men move to 5 after finishing their regular season 24-4 and outright champions of the Cascade Conference.  It was the first conference title in 37 years and the first National Tournament birth in school history.
