#10 Mountie Men Upset at Concordia

PORTLAND, Ore. - The 10th ranked Mountaineer Men's Basketball (15-3,8-2, CCC) teams recent string up nail biting games continued Saturday night with a 63-67 upset loss at Concordia University (9-10, 5-5 CCC) in Portland.
Tonight it was poor shooting from the field and even worse shooting from the free throw line that did the Mounties in. In the first half EOU shot a woeful 33% from the field and even worse they managed to go just 2-9 (22%) from 3 point range. For the game the Mounties shot 46% but could only make 13 of their 23 free throws (56%). Meanwhile the home team knocked down 25-29 attempts from the cherity stripe.
Neil Fryer led Eastern in scoring with 15 points. Nick Finley and Paul Carollo were the only other Mountaineers in double figures with 13 and 11 respectively.
EOU will have little time to bounce back as they host a red hot Warner Pacific team on Friday and Cascade College on Saturday.
