Mountaineers Release 2008 Football Schedule

LA GRANDE, Ore - The Eastern Oregon University Athletic Department released the 2008 football schedule today. The Mountaineers compete in the Frontier Conference and will host six home games next season for the second year in a row.

 

The opening game will be against Conference foe Montana Tech on September 6th at Community Stadium. The Mounties will then hit the road for two conference games against Montana Northern and Montana Western. Orientation week will conclude with a home game against Rocky Mountain College on September 27th followed by another home game on October 4th against perennial power Carroll College.

 

October 18th is slated as Homecoming with Eastern hosting Montana Northern. The final two home games will be October 25th against Montana Western and November 15th, senior day against cross state rival Southern Oregon University.
