Mounties Win on Homecoming, 38-24

Eastern Oregon football dominated 21st ranked Montana-Western, 38-24. The victory gave EOU it's first win of the season.

Eastern gained 479 yards of total offense and gave up only 309 yards. 376 yards came on the ground for EOU.

Freshman Bradley Padayao rushed for 195 yards on 32 carries and threw for 103 yards on eight for 12 passes. He rushed for three touchdowns and threw for one.

Montana-Western was led by Derrick Pluff who rushed for 114 yards on 17 carries.

Eastern Oregon improves to 1-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play. Montana-Western falls to 4-3 overall and 4-2 in the Frontier conference.

EOU will try to pull off another upset next Saturday in La Grande against fourth-ranked Carroll College.
